Our Wine Cellar

I have been so very lucky when it comes to wine, I have had some amazing experiences throughout my career. I love wine and sometimes I fall across something that even surprises me! My first real love of red wine came from a 1999 Parker First Growth that came from Coonawarra, Australia.

When we took on the restaurant within The Jews House in 2006 – two bottles came with it. We drank the first one and the second disappeared quickly! Wanting customers to experience what I felt, I am now always on the lookout for surprising finds for aging, great value, and treats for the wine list.

The CoraVin system gives us the chance to experience these wines by the glass rather than having to get the whole bottle.

Enjoy wine for many years without pulling the cork!

Our wines by the glass are poured via the Coravin system, which is ingenious! It has allowed us to access wine without pulling the cork. A needle pierces the cork and allows us to remove the wine whilst replacing it with argon, an inert gas. This keeps the wine fresh without interrupting the aging process.

We have chosen some of our wines from the cellar to offer by the glass as an opportunity for you to experience a premium wine without splurging on the whole bottle.

It does take about 4-7 minutes to extract each glass, so please pre-order wine so you can enjoy it with your food.
